NHS Leicester City is the organisation currently responsible for buying and overseeing many of the city's health services which best meet the needs of Leicester City People.
Primary care trusts like NHS Leicester city will be abolished in April 2013. Most of the responsibilities are being taken on by Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), a GP-led organisation already working under delegated powers to make key commissioning decisions. To find out more about Leicester City CCG, please visit their own web site www.leicestercityccg.nhs.uk.
