An updated version of the Diabetes Prevalence Model for England has been published. The model estimates the number of people in local authority areas who would be expected to have diabetes in the future if the increase in diabetes is sustained at current levels. The model also
estimates the degree to which rising levels of obesity are likely to be responsible for this increase. The model can also be applied to local population data using the define your own area tool and define own ethnic group tool.
