National Desmond Celebration Awards - Shortlisted entires announced
People in control of their own health and care - report published by the Kings Fund. This report focuses on the reasons as to why despite previous initiatives to give people more control over their health and care they have largely failed to work.
The National Diabetes Audit 2013-2014 Report 1: Care Processes And Treatment Targets - key findings: shows that diabetes patients aged under 40 receive fewer vital checks and less often hit treatment targets than older age groups. A 2nd report from the audit will be published later in the year; this report will look at the complications of diabetes and mortality.
