Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes is a new initiative launched jointly in 2011 by NHS Diabetes, industry and patient groups. Its goal is to recognise good practice in diabetes care, and to provide opportunities to share these initiatives as widely as possible so that they will ultimately benefit more patients.The Leicester Diabetes team won National recognistion last year. click here to see why.
Now into its second year the 2012 QiC (Quality in Care) Diabetes programme offers you and your teams the chance for your diabetes initiatives to be recognised and rewarded.
QiC Diabetes http://www.qualityincare.org/awards/diabetes is open to anyone in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland working in the diabetes community, in a UK health service, for a patient group, in the voluntary sector, industry, in a consultancy or people with diabetes.
