MSc/PG Dip/PG Cert In Diabetes Care
The University Hospitals of Leicester and the University of Leicester have teamed together to offer higher qualifications and accredited modules in Diabetes Care. The course is run by our speciallised Diabetes Team. The Director's are Professor Kamlesh Khunti and Professor Melanie Davies. The course is overseen by a Board of Examiners, members of which include all specialties involved in Diabetes as well as prominent University Academics.
Aims of the Course
The course provides a wide range of approved, accredited M level modules. They focus on clinical, diagnostic and technical skills development and aim to provide the educational foundation for advanced/autonomous practice.
The course is open to professionals with relevant first degrees or professional qualifications, with significant clinical experience in the field. Candidate from other backgrounds will be considered and may be assessed through an informal interview process.
April (part-time) or September (full time) each year. Individual modules are delivered as CPD courses throughout the year.
